The core pillars of our work

Every event, campaign, and volunteer hour maps back to one of four pillars — how we track chapter growth and how members earn active status each semester.

Pillar 01

Advocacy

Raising awareness on cancer care policy, health equity initiatives, and government engagement to drive public policy change.

Pillar 02

Fundraising

Campus campaigns, walks, runs, events, and drives that direct real dollars to life-saving cancer research and local patient services.

Pillar 03

Impact

Prevention education and campus awareness campaigns, with measurable data tracked every semester to show real chapter growth.

Pillar 04

Community

Hands-on volunteering at local cancer hospitals, care package drives, and events that build a support network for patients and families.

How event sign-ups work

Sign up for events using the calendar below. Some events skip the sign-up sheet entirely, and others need extra registration — check each event's details. Questions go to that event's coordinator.
  • 01Sheets open 7:30 AM, one week out (occasionally two — we'll flag it ahead of time).
  • 02Sheet full? Join the waitlist at the bottom — don't add extra spots or jump into an opened slot out of order.
  • 03Complete every field on the sheet or your entry may get pulled.
  • 04Confirmations send 8:00 AM, two days out; sheets close that same night at 11:59 PM.
  • 05Need to drop? Message the coordinator by 11:59 PM the day confirmations go out — late cancels cost a point.
